PERSONALISING YOUR HOME
Bathrooms
The bathroom and ensuite are two of the most important rooms that will be designed for your home. Kerdic Homes has designed and built quite an array over the years and is still coming up with new and exciting ideas to make your bathrooms unique and refreshing. In our standard inclusions we already provide designer vanities with stone tops, modern vitreous china basins with chrome pop-up wastes however, you may wish to change from this. Common requested variations (which may incur extra costs) to a standard bathroom and/or ensuite include:
- 1200mm high tiling
- full height tiles
- double heater exhaust fans
- frieze tiles
- spa baths
- opaque glass partitions to the wc and shower area (subject to design constraints)

Kitchens
Kerdic Homes believes that the most important room of a home is the kitchen. Most people agree that getting the kitchen right will compliment their home. A kitchen must have ample bench space, plenty of storage and have a layout that will minimise work and maximise enjoyment. In our standard inclusions we already provide stone bench tops and 2 pac kitchen cupboard fronts however, you may wish to change from this. Common requested variations (which may incur extra costs) to a standard kitchen are:
- non-standard laminates and 2 pac colours
- increase height of overhead cupboards from 2.1m to 2.4m, or
- if ceiling height is 2.5m or 2.7m, increase overhead cupboard height to 2.4m with a plasterboard bulkhead above
- upgrade handles to bar handles
- increase rangehood from 600mm to 900mm
- additional drawers
- designer colour stone to bench tops
- adding additional colours to cabinets, e.g. drawer fronts and bar fronts
With our custom designed homes, you will be provided with a detailed kitchen plan to confirm the details before starting on site.
Discussing your ideas with our consultant will ensure you get the best possible advice and turn your kitchen ideas into reality.

Front Elevations
The appearance of the front of your home can make a bold statement about the rest of your home. When a house has "street appeal" it can make all the difference for a would-be purchaser.
Before you start discussing your ideas with us, it can be useful to drive through some neighbourhoods and see which homes inspire you and write down some ideas to discuss with our consultants. Hopefully, this section will provide you with a few ideas that will help make your home have that sought after street appeal.

Entry Doors
Our standard front entry door is the Madison PMAD101 from Corinthian Doors

-
sidelight glass changed from clear to obscure
-
centre timber mullions removed from sidelights, leaving a full length of laminated glass
-
entry door upgraded
-
stained doors

Garage Doors
For garage doors, we use the Slimline (or similar) from Steel-line The painted timber-look doors can be provided at an extra cost, but be aware that they are very difficult to maintain. If they are scratched it is not easy to match the paint touch-ups. The ceiling heights can also be altered (at an extra cost) from 2.4m to 2.55m or 2.5m to 2.7m.
